I wrote this poem for my sister. We tease her about her head being in the clouds, and her silly names for tree-houses or her habit of walking on the picket fence, pretending to be a tightrope walker. I am more practical, but this came out of a lot of thought and understanding. Dedicated to Sarah, and all the artsy dreamers out there.

The Peruvian Army was defeated in San Juan de Miraflores, January, 1881; nevertheless the battles in the Andes went on between the Peruvians and Chileans. A portion of the Chilean Army was in the vicinity and within the city of Concepcion, for about six months, the battle, and clashes between both armies were on July 9 and the 10, 1882: the city of Comas joined in with the guerrillas of San Jeronimo, and other nearby cities to fight the Chileans. On July 10, more Peruvians reinforcements arrived, and this lead to the defeat of the Chileans, leaving no survivors.

The answer is quality, well-written poetry from the masters of old, as well as from contemporary writers who are continuing on in the great tradition of the art. Taking the time to read and create poetry is a worthwhile endeavor, much needed in this fast-paced 21st century.

The next breath is a struggle, a test to remain sane, as the last was just juggled but not done so in vain. With the twist of a tongue and a pierce of the lip, a snap of the fingers from a hand that can grip. A wave from the ocean, that can toss a ship, it's been an uncomfortable boat ride that seems longer in trip. But I've made it this far, to turn back would be worst, than the decision to begin when I started at first.

I went to Joplin recently to volunteer my time to people who desperately need it right now. Instead of coming home with complete despair, I came back with a renewed faith in people. We are strong and we can overcome anything with love and support. I wrote this a few days after returning home.

This is my poem about prophecy. I wanted build a picture of all the types and shadows in the Old Testament who pointed to our Lord and Savior, Jesus. I'm an all in kinda believer. I truly believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God. I truly believe Jesus is Man and God, Bright and Morning Star. I believe the whole Bible was Holy Spirit inspired. I believe Jesus was crucified and raised on the third day. I have to believe this in order to enter Heaven.
